Attentive service. Oysters are fresh - shuck right in front of you. Highly recommend the medium and large oysters. Great wine pairing too.

This place has a small menu, but everything they serve is superb. They specialize only in a few types of seafood. They offer a variety of fresh oysters that are shucked only after ordering. We ordered a plate of razor clams, which was wonderfully done. One order includes 6 razor clams. Most other pintxo bars include only 4 razor clams in an order. It's a small shop, but hardly full. I would definitely recommend this place for really fresh oysters and razor clams.

Look. We did the "tour" of pintxos. We had to come back twice to Kamal. The oysters are super fresh, big, and delicious. The navajas? Chefs kiss. The wines perfectly pair with the dishes.y personal favorite were the gildas. I'm a gilda fanatic, and these hit everything I could hope for- powerful. The anchoas are salty and pungent with a massive Miami kick. The piparras are actually spicy and pickeld enough to balance the saltiness. The aceitunas carry enough flavor to stand on their own, but when paired with the rest of the gilda, rounds out the entire bite with massive, no holds barred flavor. After eating them, all I could do is curse in multiple languages, thank the chef, and order more. Kamal is unassuming but punches way above it's weight. I'll come here every single time I'm in San Sebastian. Oh, and the crowd? Ended up in a multi hour, deep conversation with lovely foodies from around the world. If you found Kamal, you're on the right track.

Fresh reasonably priced oysters, great cheap wine to pair and the octopus pincho was nice to try also. But you come here for Kamal, a lovely Moroccan man who treats his customers well and is very fun to talk to. Recommend

Wow. Kamal is a consummate professional when it comes to seafood. Trust his recommendations. We had octopus, percebes, and a bunch of oysters. All fantastic. The wine was great too. We had a great experience. You know a place is good when the locals who work there recommend it and we had multiple locals recommend it. Run, don't walk to this quaint little GEM if you are in San Sebastian. Thank me later.
